Was definitely influenced by that since they Gengar I’m Just Here For The Boos shirt it on twitch like 3 days ago but it hasn't really changed in the let's go story, giovanni still disbands team rocket after you beat him in a gym battle. Heck at the end of BW2 the Triad seems to imply Ghetsis can't even mentally function anymore after being wrong twice, the guy was so adamant about his perfect plans that the first failure drove him insane, and a second one completely drove him mad. I love a random bonus room is hidden away somewhere that's just a single room cave with a Hobo Ghetsis muttering to himself, where you can fight him and the Triad. I at least wish we knew the story behind Ghetsis saving the lives of the Shadow Triad.
