Why don't they use their old logos instead of that edited W WWE Stone Cold Steve Austin Retro shirt? I get the Attitude scratch not being used as they had to blur that from like 02 to like 2013 or so, but the new generation logo? Any ideas if it's required or just a marketing strategy? Retro would be so much cooler if it felt like they literally pulled it from a box in the warehouse. Just curious. Really appreciate your writing these summaries, definitely vastly more deserving of precious upvotes than daily discussions about how funny Daniel Bryan is and Jon Moxley's imminent debut.

Considering this is a new product technically, they would likely be in violation of their deal with the WWF. It would probably be seen as a promotion like the WWE Stone Cold Steve Austin Retro shirt, which is the issue. It no longer applies to archive footage. As for why the New Generation logo was never blurred, from what I understand and have read, it was just a matter of the scratch logo being the issue at the time of the dispute and the New Generation logo not being a then-current marketing tool. I'd love to see Orton and Punk feud again, but this time has Punk get some wins since he is so much more over now.

I can't imagine that Triple H and Stephanie will ever get divorced. Triple H is really in one of those situations where the relationship he's forged is bigger than WWE Stone Cold Steve Austin Retro shirt. If he gets divorced he could potentially never be allowed in the WWE again, his career will be buried, and he'll have nowhere to go except for TNA or the Indies.
