If Jake were born 10 years later, he doesn’t make it at all—not for a lack of talent but because the territories were dried up. Unpopular opinion but I think Rock wanted it that way as that was the only way Vince was going to let him put over Punk since Vince wanted Cena/Rock 2 badly.
