I stopped and parked and walked back to the Official NYC Power Outage shirt to help some confused old guy get his car out of the road. It had stalled and he was just sitting in it trying to use his ancient flip phone seemingly unsuccessfully. As I got to back through the intersection to the old man, the cops showed up and I helped them push him out. It was a one-man job but them being able to block traffic with their squad car made it a lot safer. There were no thanks they were rushing to get their car out of the road as well. And we left that confused old man in a parking lot. I got shit to do

It isn't really, of course; that's just how we respect each other's privacy here. When you walk past hundreds of people on your way to Official NYC Power Outage shirt , and spend 45 minutes on a train so crowded you can identify three strangers' brand of deodorant, personal space only exists on the inside. It's rude to take that last bit of personal space away from someone unless there's a specific reason why it's necessary.

Can someone explain the ending to me? it looks like the cop just sends him away (maybe with a warning not to do it again?) while being parked smack dab in the middle of the intersection. Even if it is dangerous and a private person is not legally allowed to direct traffic Official NYC Power Outage shirt still helped massively in this situation but doesn't even get a handshake. Now people have to wait for the cop car to get out of the way and from then on out it's gonna be fairly chaotic with a decent chance for accidents.
