I was only a few years older than you were when I lost my dad and I absolutely share the same sentiment: how lucky we were to have them, while we did. I'm 29 and the same man, hopefully, we're both in the same position 10 years from now. Still, lots of catch and batting practice to get in. My dad retired at 55. A year later was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma. He died 10 months after his diagnosis. Skin cancer is not your friend ladies and gents.
