We're totally gonna ignore Banjo-Kazooie Banjo's Adventure Shirt that dragon that liked getting a head start every time you race him, aren't we? I was okay with Wizpig. It was a final boss, it should have been hard. but screw Bubbler the Octopus, his stupid bubbles, and the fact that I got to race with the dumb hovercraft. If I remember correctly, the Octopus was one of the easier bosses because all you had to do was learn his bubble placements. He wasn't particularly fast and the map wasn't too bad.

Even if you learned his Banjo-Kazooie Banjo's Adventure Shirt placements, the slippery hovercraft wasn't always compliant. I'd go through the entire race flawlessly and end up losing because I accidentally slid onto a bubble. At least the triceratops felt a little intuitive when you raced him (bar the 90% speed reduction he'd get for the last 10 feet of the race). I unlocked the clock after many months and then my memory save died two weeks later and I lost my save. I was livid.
