The comic-con Godzilla King of the monsters shirt was the one that highlighted the element of Kaiju as modern-day gods and warnings of the folly of man. This trailer, meanwhile, is about Mothra-screeching, Rodan-flying, King Ghidorah-stomping-on-Fenway-Park, Godzilla-charging kaiju fighting action. Both approaches work. As a proud Boston Sports fan, I am okay with King Ghidorah stomping Fenway park... I mean what am I going to do about it

Yeah, the first movie made Godzilla seem absolutely massive on a ridiculous Godzilla King of the monsters shirt, and I doubt he's shrunk since then. I can't wait to see Ghidorah compared to things. King Kong is doing pushups and situps while watching all this unfold on tv prepping to fight the winner.. It was this awful fake trailer description of Avengers 4 that surfaced a couple of months ago. And not in some Hulk-like voice, no no, it was supposed to just be Mark Ruffalo's regular voice saying that. I don't know why but for some reason the idea of a 9ft tall 1200lb green muscle freak saying that in a regular dude voice is laughable.

Well, to be specific Godzilla King of the monsters shirt, the description says that the line delivered in Mark Ruffalo’s voice, but coming out of the Hulk. There’s also this bullshit scene of Rocket and Nebula fist bumping. King Kong couldn’t take a hit from Godzilla’s atomic breath and walk away...not sure how they’re gonna make that movie plausible...even in an imaginary world with giant monsters.
