This might genuinely be one of the strangest music videos I've ever seen like, Lil Dicky - Earth Shirt appreciate the message. How the fuck did this happen? who put this together? How did these names get attached and how is LIL DICKY the headliner? how is this on his channel? It's so fucking strange. I feel so conflicted, its actually a pretty good video (a little shallow, but since the proceeds are going to charity there's only so much you can say on that, this is helping even if it doesn't address the real problems with climate change ).

but the song itself is..mediocre at best. Lil Dicky - Earth Shirt not something you can just listen to, but maybe it is not supposed to be. idk. How does he not come out with music for so long and then come out with this? Genuinely, so confused. Yeah, when Lil Dicky did a collab with Chris 'woman beater' Brown I lost all respect for him. It's pretty clear that's when he sold out and this video just confirms that for me. Honest question not trying to stir up shit. What about all the other artists that worked with Chris Brown? Kendrick, Pusha T, Trey Songz, Joyner Lucas, Lil Wayne, Wale, Meek Mill, etc. They all know about it and collaborated with him.

I think initially Lil Dicky - Earth Shirt music tapped into a different demographic than regular rap fans who would follow trey and Lil Wayne. He was never a rap fan’s rapper. The people who listen to rap regularly have for better or for worse come to terms with Brown’s behavior and don’t mind when artists follow collab with him. On the other hand, people who were fans of dicky come more from a nerd/geek culture background and felt hurt by his working with Brown. I'm kind of a HipHopHead but I find some of Lil Dicky's songs enjoyable but yeah I understand what you are saying.
