Probably a lot of booze and dope. But in all my Metallica Sanitarium inspired Shirt, my favorite part of heavy metal shows (and this is especially true of Metallica) is seeing all the different generations that attend. You have people in their 50s-60s headbanging with their kids/grandkids and it's fucking awesome. I have 5 shows from the current tour, so I know the format. I hope Lars changes shit up cuz I’m getting tired of the format based on just the shows I already have.

Yeah, it would be nice if they’d switch up the setlist a bit. At the very least, I feel like we could go without Metallica Sanitarium inspired Shirt and Nothing Else Matters at every show. In my opinion, Sad But True’s slot should rotate all of Metallica’s heavy songs. Harvester of Sorrow, The Thing That Should Not Be, hell, Devil’s Dance would be really cool. If they want to keep a super heavy song in that slot, that’s fine, but some variety would be nice.

I’m not sure what they’d play instead of Metallica Sanitarium inspired Shirt, but I feel like something more intense would be better. Nothing Else Matters just feels out of place between a thrashy track and Enter Sandman.  I do agree that it’s nice that they even switch up the setlist at all. While the format does get boring after a while, it’s always worth remembering that they haven’t played the same setlist twice since 2003, according to Lars.
