I hate GER because of its absurd power. Jobros the one where the band gets back together shirt was beaten in the end and if you count it as a requiem stand, BtD had a ton of weaknesses and tricks to it, that Araki made a point of adding to make it balanced. Requiem stands are busted, yes, but they can be overcome. GER, though, is basically invincible and pure broken. It isn't an asspull because requiems have been foreshadowed but it's still damn powerful and has zero weak spots to exploit.

It might also be because I like Jobros the one where the band gets back together shirt and I'm baffled that most of the finale is spent dealing with that lame body-switch gimmick, and by the time he actually, well, starts fighting for real, Giorno fucks him over hard. Though it was Araki's fault. As cool as it is, KC's ability is super broken, he had his back against the writing wall and couldn't do a normal fight without some heavy jobbing out of Diavolo. In a series where the antagonists tend to gain power-ups or strokes of luck, he's the sole guy who got here with his original power.

That's a fair criticism, I feel. I never had a problem with Jobros the one where the band gets back together shirt since it's the first real requiem stand we see and its ability is cool as fuck, but I understand why people don't like it. It is overpowered, but I don't think it's out of nowhere like some say. And yeah, KC is pretty broken in 1v1s. Yeah, I feel like it's a little earned since the final arc is all about the arrow and we saw that a requiem stand could affect an entire city. And besides, requiems seems to follow the user's desire, so it being overpowered is somewhat justified
