This is great! Earth Day snoopy sleep on Earth shirt thing to know though, is sometimes there isn't enough to do if it's a big meet up. My family took a trip out to the Oregon Coast for a big clean up there and we couldn't find a scrap just a couple hours after it started (feels like a weird thing to say but we were almost disappointed). Just something to consider--Your local park or roadside may need you more, and we can have more of an impact if we spread out.

Most of these events only last 3 or 4 hours, so if you show up 2+ hours late most of the work has been done. An organized cleanup tells you when and where to show up. My mom signed onto some kind of public "litter-policing" schedule for the B-Line Trail and on two occasions I drove her there and held the dog's leash while she picked up trash (I got some of the bits that were too high up the embankment/down in the ditch).

What's that make my appreciation/participation ratio? In Earth Day snoopy sleep on Earth shirt as well and wow, sometimes it's impossible to miss the insane amount of trash all over this city. Thanks for doing your part to make Indy a little better. I hope to go out around my area next week or so. The weather has been a grump on my only days off lately.
