They could have had a perfect SpongeBob SquarePants Sweet Victory shirt halftime show and now all those performers are going to likely get schwacked on Twitter by angry sponge bob fans who are mad they did t play their song.  I feel like something went wrong from a technical perspective. They showed that animated comet and began to show the SpongeBob stuff, and it just switched over. Really feels like a special effect went awry and they quickly switched gears to hide the mistake. I feel like they did a repeat of last year. They promised not to do a Prince hologram because he was very clear he didn't believe in it, but they had already set it up so they just added a gigantic sheet so it was a projected image and totally not a hologram.

I'm fairly sure this all went off exactly as planned SpongeBob SquarePants Sweet Victory shirt. They showed the animated comets coming down, and whoever the rapper came up out of some set pieces that looked like an impact crater on the stage. Neat effect, but not what I was looking forward to. She started yelling and swearing at me and I slammed the door on her. I'm so distressed right now I don't know what to do. I didn't mean to do that to my mom but I'm literally in shock from the results tonight. I feel like I'm going to explode. Why the fucking fuck didn't they play it? This can't be happening. I'm having a fucking breakdown. I don’t think they understand just how fucking hard millennials would have rocked to this song if they saw it through in the Super Bowl.

I don’t understand this mentality, I’ve been seeing it all week. The Super Bowl isn’t something only hardcore sports fans watch, it’s something everyone watches, for at least the commercials, or they go to parties where it’s on in the background. Also, SpongeBob has been on since 1999. It’s not some obscure cartoon it’s been a part of pop culture for 20 years. So this idea that people wouldn’t know who Spongebob is or there is no crossover of people who used to watch the show, who are in there SpongeBob SquarePants Sweet Victory shirt now and people who watch football boggles my mind. People can like more than one thing. Exactly, it's been on Reddit all week. The insurmountable hype built for the moment made a lot of people who wouldn't normally watch/pay attention to the game, actually watch it for the half time.
