The problem is that it's not particularly clever humor; I can see myself laughing at it as a Pizza dude’s got 30 seconds Ninja Turtles shirt, but as an adult, I just find it a little low effort I guess? Keep working on it! The best thing to do is write down everything you can think of that you find amusing, then go through them with someone and eliminate the ones which don’t work. Develop on the few that go into an actual routine. If you’re going for a written/stand-alone jokes - take another approach. Rather than such ‘on the nose’ humor, look too clever wordplay or unexpected twists. This is exactly the kind of criticism I was hoping for. These jokes mostly worked verbally when in context. I guess presenting them out of context as simple thoughts don't work as I want it to. My goal has been to write concise jokes that make the readers' or listeners' imaginations do part of the work. But if I expect the same from other people and leave out the best parts then I'm only writing half the joke.

If I wasn't so lazy, I'd give stand up comedy a try because I know I can have a room full of people laughing pretty easily. Stand up just sounds like a lot of travel, hard work, and diligence. I have a baby at home so all that is out. I will keep working and post some new jokes later.
