With the emphasis on names=identity by the FM (no one at HoBaW has a name, Joaquin simply telling Arya to whisper three names to him to kill and Death being a many-faced god)

As of now, Varys has no reason whatsoever to kill 'Alayne Stone'. She's an obscure bastard in the Vale. She hasn't done anything yet which warrants her death in Varys' plans. Other than that I think it looks good. Reminds me of how Martin pulled Rob and Ned into defeat from the jaws of victory. Thematically makes sense. The only issue would be whether Arya kills her or not but this theory does make sense.

So, the way I see it, Alayne doesn't endanger Varys' plans up until the point where Alayne publicly declares herself to be Sansa Stark because that move will have people flock to her cause. The power she then represents might become a small problem for Varys then. But, then Varys wouldn't send Olenna Tyrell Game of Thrones – Tell Cersei it was me shirt to kill Alayne, but Sansa, since she has just publicly declared herself. In Littlefingers mind, it would be the middle finger to the Starks. They can't do that if they're not actually there, so I tend to believe Littlefinger here. I agree that he will rule in some capacity. Perhaps as an advisor of sorts. I think he would be more focused on preventing or trying to minimalism the damages of another Great War. I don’t think he would be suited to ordinary rule. The orange to the head I think is about how her hairnet was an accessory for murder.
