I've been a long time lurker of this sub and I am so surprised Official Flood Relief Nebraska Strong shirt that so few people know that there was a second installment. Hm, the showers might just be calling to me.

Great ending! Still a bit confused about the layout of the Showers complex. In Mr. May's original telling, he and his friends entered through the Cellar door, then traveled through a 1-mile long tunnel, to reach the red door, behind the red door was the room known as the showers -- where the ghostly children seem to live. In OP's first trip the Showers, he entered through a hole in the roof -- falling apparently directly into the Showers room. He escapes then by traveling Official Flood Relief Nebraska Strong shirt out of the shower room (through the red door) then through the series of tunnels and finally out of the Cellar door. His trip was the reverse of Mr. May's. In the second and final trip, Karen and OP first find a cellar door, they both fall into it.

They find and then try to exit the room through the red door only to find that the tunnels beyond it have collapsed.  How did the Official Flood Relief Nebraska Strong shirt and Karen find their way to the Shower room if the tunnels were blocked? Was there was a second cellar door that doesn't lead to the tunnels? Or is the showers a trans-dimensional place where a cellar door was both an entry and exit? Has anyone drawn a map of the Showers compound? Is the man at the red door in the final story here there to represent the ghost of Mr. Mays or Mr. May's abandoned friend or simply the owner of the compound? Who was speaking with the OP during his first trip? Is himself or the owner of the compound?
