I got a good feeling about Iron Man you have an army we have a Hulk shirt this one guy. I feel like by the end of this series we'll look back at this as one of the great Spider-Man stories. It has all the makings of a classic. The ending of this issue really took me by surprise and I can't wait to see where this goes. I still think Marquez’s art seems quite rushed and unfinished compared to his earlier stuff for marvel - compared this issue to say the ultimate miles morales stuff, even up till civil war II or some of the defenders. It’s still good, just not the same level it was, which is a shame because I much prefer Aaron’s writing to Bendis’s.

 Seeing a universe where he's allowed to mature and age would be pretty interesting since we will see him dealing with things he has never dealt with before. I also loved how Iron Man you have an army we have a Hulk shirt managed to use Vietnam as a Civil War of sorts between Steve and Tony and how this will certainly add some dilemma to Peter's thoughts about joining the war. I wonder if we are also going to get other characters into the story being introduced the moment they debuted. Like for example would he encounter Carnage in the '90s while he's in his 50's? Probably meet Miles when he's in his 60's. His God of Thunder run is what got me into Marvel comics, period. This has been simply amazing storytelling and I hope he keeps going after the War ends.

Mark Bagley's art immediately reminded me of reading Ultimate Spider-Man in the past and Peter's inner dialogue of him wanting to protect his loved ones and thinking about whether he should join the military or not was so heartfelt. Speaking of heartfelt, the conversation between Spidey and Cap was the highlight of this issue and how about Cap protecting the Vietnamese civilians in the end tho? I can't wait for more! I also love how Devil Hulk is the same one we’ve heard about since the beginning, but ‘blames Sunday school’ for his appearance in Banner's mind since Banner was afraid of him since he is a warped protector personality Iron Man you have an army we have a Hulk shirt. Does this mean Jen and Amadeus are also unkillable, and that Thunderbolt Ross should be coming back soon?
