I'm especially glad to see some more uncommon characters showing up (such as Nico, Miss America, and Namora) alongside the heavy hitters. It's probably the only Secret Wars tie-in I'm gonna get, too. After reading this issue I'm hoping it continues in some form after the event ends. I'm pretty certain that an A-Force team of sorts exists after this, definitely read it somewhere. I think it was the Captain Universe of this new universe that Doom created.

Surprisingly my favorite out them all this week. Felt like I knew what was going on and where everyone stands within Battleworld at all times. I've been a fan of G Willow Wilson since her work on Ms. Marvel's run and this was a cool first issue. I've really enjoyed Jim Cheung's artwork since the Bendis's New Avengers days in '04 and the artwork in this issue was just absolutely flawless as usual for the most part. Now in the story, aside from the cool action stuff, I loved seeing the camaraderie between all these women. And seeing Nico cry when America was taken away was just really emotional.

And, I thought it was interesting to see She-Hulk say that not all laws are just when I imagined that she would be more of a stickler-type who upholds the law no matter what. And I think because of that ideology, she had her "Steve Rogers" moment when she decided to gather the troops even it meant going against the Avenger Endgame one last mission sacrifice stand fight smash shot shirt Doom's laws which were my favorite moment of this issue. I don't know if this was obvious to everyone but I think they're implying a romantic relationship between this world's Loki and Ms. America. Young Avengers established America as gay and Loki as bisexual, so it might not have been clear to people that haven't read the Gillen run. I didn't see it that way. The "ward" comment made me think that the fem Loki was more of a maternal figure to America. Otherwise, it's kind of creepy to be having a relationship with someone you are basically a guardian for.
